Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours. mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am. while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm. I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm. at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight. I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm. ( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."Ĭons: "I purchased the earliest flight of the day from Vegas to Los Angeles so I could be in LA by 11am so I could attend the 1pm Dodger game at dodger stadium. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people.
