I will admit I don't like Arcade mode either, but even I can still find enjoyment in it as both a harder challenge since I found story mode even on hard mode way too easy, and I can still get some enjoyment from it by playing through it with other friends, where story mode gets a bit dull after you've played through the story after a dozen times.Īlso, don't forget that treats still exist to make the mode easier. Secrets of Grindea is an old-school RPG, with co-op support for up to 4 players. What would you do to make Arcade mode better? Remember this is supposed to be the Roguelike mode - keeping nothing between runs is a staple of that, or else you could just bullrush through the floors and it'd lose its meaning. A freaking bunny or slime takes half your health? You still keep absolutely nothing between runs? It's still ridiculously difficult except for those few elites to whom this mode seems to cater. Still the same slog, but with more houses to build. You've made changes to try to make the mode more accessible for everyone.
